Once I felt good and sorry for myself, I started looking up the many different hair loss solutions that were available. So back to the Internet I went in search of a magical cure (as of yet, there isn’t one).

That didn’t help either.

Every product out there boasted life-changing results with glowing success stories and facts and figures that seemed impossible. Everything seemed too good to be true, and too scared to give anything a try, I crawled into my pity-party hole of baldness and prayed my hair would grow back on its own.

But it didn’t.

So finally, about six months ago (yes, it took me that long), I decided to do something about it, and dove back into my research. And that’s when I found Scalp Med.

Some quick reading on its website told me that ScalpMED is a non-surgical solution to hair loss. Designed to stop hair loss and thinning hair and promote new hair growth, ScalpMED’s proprietary hair-loss treatment delivers thicker, stronger hair without surgery, sexual side effects, wigs, weaves or cover-ups that are common with other the hair-restoration products.

Since I was completely wallowing in my pending future as a hairless man, I was absolutely a total skeptic at this point. It sounded too good to be true! There was no way any of that could be true.

And then I kept reading more claims that made me even more skeptical.

ScalpMED claims to be “stronger than genetics” because it halts and reverses hereditary hair loss and thinning, known as male-pattern and female-pattern baldness.

ScalpMED asserts it is a proven-effective regimen for both male and female hair loss and thinning hair.

ScalpMED even says it can restore hair lost due to non-hereditary factors.

Scalp Med decreases both patchy hair loss and excessive hair loss.

Get real! On paper (or computer screen, in my case), this was exactly what I was looking for. Other hair loss products made similar claims, but none matched up quite as well with what I was looking for as ScalpMED.

I knew from my research Minoxidil was the only FDA-approved hair-growth ingredient, so I wanted a product that used Minoxidil as its primary ingredient. Check! But ScalpMED certainly isn’t the only product that uses Minoxidil, so I wondered what made it any different?

What sets ScalpMED apart from the competition is this patented two-step topical solution to hair loss. ScalpMED’s unique two-step process treats the scalp and then stimulates hair growth. Since it didn’t seem to have any more negative reviews than the competition, I decided to give it a try.

ScalpMED – My Experience So Far

I’m delighted to say that my heavy skepticism is waning. But it certainly didn’t start that way, as Scalp Med does take a good level of patience.

After three months of diligent application, I was seeing no results. I called into ScalpMED’s service number to voice my displeasure, and the customer service rep reassured me to stick with it, as it typically takes four to six months before you will see the results of ScalpMED. So since I had the product, I decided to take her advice and keep going for another month or two, and if nothing happened, I’d quit for good.

But sure enough, about a month later, new hair started to grow! I couldn’t believe it.

Fast forward to now, and I’m almost back to where I was before I started, with a nearly-full head of healthy hair!

The key is clearly just to stick with it and keep applying the treatment twice a day until you begin to see results. BUT, I’ve also learned that you need to keep applying even after your new hair comes in, so that’s what I’m going to do.

I know full-well how easy it is to get down on yourself and not believe anything you read about hair loss products, but as a (former) skeptic myself, I’d suggest giving ScalpMED a try. It’s working for me!
