Is Scalp Med a Scam? My Honest Review
Written by James Taylir on Apr. 28th 2016
I’ve previously endorsed the Scalp Med here on my site, but thought I would give it another review to address some of the negative posts I’ve seen about it on the web. There are a lot of Scalp Med scam reviews, so I thought I’d dig in and try to disprove any notions of it being a scam.

First, I need to address some of the negative reviews I’ve seen.

One question that always comes to my mind when I’m reading online reviews is: Who is giving the review? Generally, you have no idea, because it is anonymous. But I find it important to consider the source. If I can’t find it, I have a hard time trusting its credibility.

I think, in general, we are much more likely to post something negative rather than positive. The anonymity posting online can often offer allows people a venting platform they wouldn’t otherwise have.

Now, this isn’t to say that some people don’t have legitimate gripes. I’m sure some do! Which is why it’s also important to look into what they’re saying.

Some of the reviews I’ve seen offer no details as to WHY they think it is a scam. They simply say… “It’s a scam!” That’s just not good enough! How can you deem that review to be credible?

Many negative reviews that elaborate complain about receiving unwanted bills. This is due to Scalp Med’s automatic billing option, that some feel is a scam and tricked them into getting more than they agreed to. However, in my opinion, Scalp Med is clear about its payment structure.

Scalp Med’s special introductory deal is for a 60-day supply for $99.95 plus Free Shipping. If you choose the auto-ship subscription option, you will receive an added 10% off.

You can cancel at any time during your first 120 days with no further obligation. However, if you don’t cancel, Scalp Med will continue to ship you a two-month supply every other month. You will be charged $89.99 per month.

Scalp Med does offer a 120-day money back guarantee if you aren’t satisfied with the product. If you aren’t completely satisfied with Scalp Med for any reason, you can return the unused portion within 120 days for a full refund on the product. Note that this does not include the cost of shipping and handling.

If users read those instructions, they’ll see clearly that there is no scalpmed scam afoot here. If you aren’t satisfied, you can cancel within the first 120 days and that’s it–the end. However if you don’t, you will get billed and receive more product.

As stressed on the Scalp Med website: hair loss happens gradually. Results are seen on average in four to six months. This may seem like a long time, but it compares evenly to a product like Rogaine, which also uses minoxidil as an active ingredient. So it is in your best interest to stick with it for at least that long to give it a fair chance.

Scalp Med will work best for those with thinning hair on the tops and backs of their heads, but can work on any part of your head. The fact that minoxidil is the only FDA-approved topical agent to treat hair loss lends to Scalp Med’s credibility. Otherwise, Rogaine is a scam too, since they share that primary ingredient. That being said, like with other minoxidil-based products, your hair will most likely being falling out again if you stop using the product. Results are best if you continue to use it to maintain a healthy head of hair.

Scalp Med also claims to be free of any major side effects, and I have found that to be true since I don’t see reports of any in all of the reviews I have read.

So… Is Scalp Med a Scam?

After review, I would say that it most certainly is not. As with any hair loss treatment, Scalp Med won’t work for everyone, when it comes to using Scalp Med, consistency is paramount. Remember to use Scalp Med twice daily for at least four months and you should start to see results.
